CLOUD SERVICE IS AI' LIE

WORKING IN PROCESS
Type: Installation
From data centers in the Nevada desert to server rooms in the mountains of Guizhou, a vast physical network underpins our digital image world. However, when we encounter AI-generated images on a daily basis, these material foundations are lost behind the metaphors and clean user interfaces of cloud computing. Instead, it is a highly standardized technical image: from science fiction movies to product advertisements, from academic conferences to technical exhibitions, AI is always dominated by white human
images and highly concise UI images, presenting a white, rational, and de-emotionalized existence.
This uniformity of visual representation is not accidental, but achieved through carefully designed aesthetic strategies that reflect deep technological hegemony and cultural bias.
The project aims to debunk these carefully crafted lies and provide viewers with a more transparent and
realistic picture of technology (and not just AI).
